Personal Statement

Dr Stratos Patrikios

Stratos studied History and Politics at the Universities of Ioannina, Essex and Strathclyde (PhD, 2008). His primary field is religion and politics with a focus on individual preferences and behaviours, organisational processes, and church-state relations. His research also concerns the origins and consequences of group identities, and Greek society and politics. His work on religious regulation with Fabrizio De Francesco received the 4th Giandomenico Majone Prize by the Standing Group on Regulatory Governance, European Consortium for Political Research. Stratos is the BA (Hons) Politics & International Relations Course Leader.
