Personal Statement

I study the transnational journeys, the quests for employment, and the trials of resettlement of immigrant workers from Romania in two major sites of global capitalism, the cities of London, U.K. and New York, U.S. My areas of specialization include: contemporary feminist theories, transnational mobilities, cultural politics and policy, and Eastern European feminisms.
