Personal Statement

In 2013, I completed a PhD in Stochastic SIS epidemic models and corresponding statistical inference. Since 2014, I have worked as a research associate in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. My current research interest is in statistical modelling of health data.

Research Interests

My main research interest is in statistical modelling of health data. The current studies that I am involved in include developing predictive models for Healthcare associated infections, assessing the risk of HPV associated cancers and evaluating outcomes of cancer medicines. Most of the studies involve using linked national data sets and are conducted in collaboration with the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Science and NHS.
