Personal Statement

I'm involved in undergraduate and postgraduate course design and implementation related to lower limb prosthetic rehabilitation and the care of prosthetic limb users.

Expertise & Capabilities

Teaching, research and knowledge exchange in prosthetics rehabilitation, the professional aspects related to the care of people living with limb absence and experience of organising, facilitating and speaking at national and international rehabilitation medicine and rehabilitation engineering conferences.

Teaching Interests

My teaching interests are centred on lower limb prosthetic rehabilitation in particular the care of people who have trans-tibial, ankle disarticulation and partial foot prosthetics. I help students understand the professional skills required to work with clinical populations, in particular supporting students to enhance their communication and interpersonal skills. I also enjoy working with Year 4 students undertaking projects in prosthetics and rehabilitation medicine related areas.
