Readme file - dataset for the abstract ‘colloidal quantum dot color converter for visible light communications’ The data is used in the Figs. 1, 2 and 3 of the aforementioned IPC 2016 abstract. The files of the dataset are csv files and what they represent is detailed below. The name of the file relates to the Figure of the abstract where some of the data is plotted and to the sample identified by the color and concentration of the CQDs. • Fig 1 green CQD 1%: Color-converted power versus blue LED power. The data include columns representing the LED current, the LED power (blue), the color-converted power, the LED power transmitted through the CQD converters (mW), the absorption and relative efficiency in percentage, calculated from the other data columns. • Fig 1 green CQD 10%: Same as above but for the green 10% sample. • Fig 1 red CQD 1%: Same as above but for the red 1% sample. • Fig 1 red CQD 10%: Same as above but for the red 10% sample. • Fig. 2 green CQD 1%: Optical spectrum of color-converted light for the green CQD sample at 1% concentration • Fig 2 green CQD 10%: Same as above but for the green 10% sample. • Fig 2 red CQD 1%: Same as above but for the red 1% sample. • Fig 2 red CQD 10%: Same as above but for the red 10% sample • Fig. 3 green CQD 1%: Results of data transfer in free space. Columns represent the data rate (Mb/s) and the associated bit-error rate (BER) for 2-PAM and 4-PAM modulation scheme. • Fig 3 green CQD 10%: Same as above but for the green 10% sample. • Fig 3 red CQD 1%: Same as above but for the red 1% sample. • Fig 3 red CQD 10%: Same as above but for the red 10% sample
