Sample input decks required to run the dual pulse interaction geometry simulations are included in this data set. There are two input decks, described as follows:

deck1 - 2D EPOCH simulation demonstrating the dual pulse interaction geometry, with two linearly polarised laser pulses

deck2 - 2D EPOCH simulation demonstrating the dual pulse interaction geometry, with two circularly polarised laser pulses

To run the dual pulse interaction geometry with two circularly polarised pulses of opposite polarisation direction, change the phase from +pi to -pi in the second counter-propagating laser pulse. To run the head on interaction geometry, change the incidence angle of the counter-propagating pulses to zero.

These input decks are provided as .deck files and can be opened and edited using a text editor. The files are then used in conjuction with the EPOCH QED-PIC code.
